Gianfia Corp. is seeking a Senior Project Manager to drive high-impact heavy civil construction projects across the region. You will lead multi-disciplinary teams, manage substantial budgets, and steward relationships with public and private clients while delivering programs on schedule and within scope.

The role emphasizes leadership on site, proficiency with scheduling tools, and ensuring safety and environmental compliance across complex roadway, bridge, and utilities projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of professional heavy civil construction experience.
• At least 5 years as Project Manager in heavy civil infrastructure.
• Experience with public works or private civil projects (roadways, bridges, utilities, earthwork).
• Strong scheduling and cost-control systems knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex heavy civil construction projects to meet safety, quality, schedule and budget goals.
• Oversee full project lifecycles from estimating to monthly forecasting and cost control.
• Lead and mentor project engineers, superintendents, and site personnel.
• Serve as primary representative to owners, DOT officials, and subcontractors.
• Promote jobsite safety and regulatory compliance; manage risk accordingly.
• Utilize Primavera P6 or MS Project to maintain detailed project schedules.

You will serve as a premier operational leader driving heavy civil construction projects from preconstruction planning through final closeout across the region. This high-impact role empowers you to direct multi-disciplinary teams, oversee substantial project budgets, and manage vital public and private client relationships. You will lead high-profile infrastructure initiatives within an organization that actively invests in its people and values executive field leadership.

How You Will Make An Impact

• Manage complex heavy civil construction projects to ensure safety, quality, schedule, and budgetary goals are achieved.
• Oversee complete project lifecycles, including estimating, financial cost control, change order management, and monthly forecasting.
• Lead, mentor, and inspire project engineers, field superintendents, and site personnel to foster professional growth.
• Serve as the primary representative to owners, DOT officials, municipal agencies, and subcontractor teams.
• Drive a culture of jobsite safety and enforce full compliance with environmental and regulatory standards.
• Utilize Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project to build and maintain detailed critical path project schedules.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of 10 years of professional heavy civil construction experience.
• At least 5 years of successful performance operating as a dedicated Project Manager in heavy civil infrastructure.
• Demonstrated experience managing public works or private civil projects including roadways, bridges, utilities, or earthwork.
• Strong operational knowledge of project scheduling software and comprehensive cost control systems.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Prior project management experience directly interfacing with Department of Transportation (DOT) agencies.
• Valid OSHA 30 safety certification.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
