Overview: Every Turnberry consultant belongs to a practice, an internal group of consultants and leaders with shared experience and expertise. Each of these practices aligns to one of the core services Turnberry offers to clients. As a Senior Project Manager, you will join Turnberry's Business Transformation practice. Turnberry's Business Transformation practice is dedicated to diagnosing and addressing core business challenges including regulatory compliance, full-scale implementation, managing change and driving continuous improvement across transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Project Planning
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, milestones, and resource requirements
- Partner with business sponsors and stakeholders to identify business needs, gather requirements, and develop strategic recommendations
- Facilitate discussions that drive clarity and alignment on project objectives, priorities, and expected outcomes
- Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to support successful project delivery
- Apply project management and risk management best practices throughout the project lifecycle
- Partner closely with Digital teams to ensure business requirements and strategic objectives are clearly defined and ready for execution
- Project Execution
- Lead multiple concurrent epics and strategic initiatives simultaneously
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives and milestones
- Manage project dependencies across business and technology workstreams
- Facilitate project governance activities and support decision-making with senior leaders and stakeholders
- Build and maintain strong working relationships across multiple functional areas
- Drive stakeholder alignment and proactively address risks, roadblocks, and competing priorities
- Lead highly visible initiatives with significant business impact
- Project Control and Risk Management
- Monitor project scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives
- Identify, assess, manage, and escape project risks and issues as appropriate
- Develop mitigation strategies and recommend corrective actions when required
- Track and communicate project status, progress, and performance metrics
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support executive decision-making
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; concentration in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred
- 7+ years of project, program, or related leadership experience
- Experience leading multiple large-scale, complex initiatives simultaneously
- Experience delivering projects within the financial services industry required
- Brokerage, wealth management, or investment advisory experience strongly preferred
- Experience working with fee-based advisory products, investment platforms, or related financial services solutions preferred
- Experience partnering with senior leaders, sponsors, and executive stakeholders to support strategic decision-making
- Experience working in Agile, Product Management, or hybrid delivery environments
- PMP, SAFe, Product Management certification, and/or Series 7 license preferred
- Expertise in project lifecycle management, particularly during project initiation, planning, analysis, and stakeholder alignment phases
- Strong business acumen and the ability to translate strategic objectives into actionable project plans
- Demonstrated ability to define scope, gather and refine requirements, and facilitate strategic business discussions
- Experience managing multiple complex initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Strong executive communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to influence decision-making across multiple levels of leadership without direct authority
- Experience navigating ambiguity and independently prioritizing competing demands
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and build strong relationships across business and technology organizations
- Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills
- Experience using project management tools such as Clarity, Aha!, Jira, Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, and Excel
The salary range for this role is $130,000 to $190,000 or the hourly equivalent.
