Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of projects totaling $50M-$100M+ annually, or oversee a single large-scale, highly complex project.
• Develop, mentor, and supervise Project Managers, Superintendents, Assistant Project Managers, and Project Engineers.
• Drive project financial performance, forecasting, cash flow, contingency management, and margin protection.
• Manage project risk, contract administration, claims, change management, and subcontractor performance.
• Partner with Preconstruction to support estimating, buyout strategy, constructability reviews, and successful project handoffs.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and trade partners.
• Lead project recovery efforts, staffing strategies, and resource planning across multiple teams.
• Support business development activities, client pursuits, interviews, and proposal presentations.

At Butler-Cohen, Senior Project Managers do more than manage projects. They lead portfolios, develop teams, build lasting client relationships, and drive the successful execution of some of the most complex commercial construction projects in Texas.

We're seeking an experienced construction leader who can oversee multiple projects simultaneously while mentoring Project Managers and ensuring operational, financial, and contractual success across their portfolio.

What You'll Do

• Lead a portfolio of projects totaling $50M-$100M+ annually, or oversee a single large-scale, highly complex project.
• Develop, mentor, and supervise Project Managers, Superintendents, Assistant Project Managers, and Project Engineers.
• Drive project financial performance, forecasting, cash flow, contingency management, and margin protection.
• Manage project risk, contract administration, claims, change management, and subcontractor performance.
• Partner with Preconstruction to support estimating, buyout strategy, constructability reviews, and successful project handoffs.
