Job summary

MP Engineers + Architects is seeking a New York State Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with 15–20 years of comprehensive experience in highway, transportation, civil/site design, and major development and construction projects.

The successful candidate will oversee management, design, planning, and coordination of highway, transportation, and civil/site projects across all phases—from preconstruction through post-construction—while leading teams and ensuring quality and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Active New York State Professional Engineer (PE) License.
• 15–20 years of comprehensive professional engineering experience.
• Extensive experience across all phases of major development and construction projects.
• Strong experience in highway and roadway design.
• Experience with transportation and civil/site projects.
• Experience with utility design and coordination.
• Demonstrated experience with NYC street improvement projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage, plan, design, and coordinate highway, transportation, and civil/site projects.
• Provide technical leadership throughout the preconstruction, construction, and post-construction phases.
• Oversee the development and implementation of highway and roadway designs.
• Manage and coordinate utility design and related civil infrastructure work.
• Support and oversee NYC street improvement projects.
• Coordinate project activities with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
• Review design plans, technical documents, specifications, and project deliverables.
• Ensure projects are effectively planned, coordinated, and executed in accordance with project requirements.
• Provide engineering guidance and technical solutions throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor project progress and support successful delivery of major development and construction projects.

We are seeking a New York State Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with 15–20 years of comprehensive experience in highway, transportation, civil/site design, and major development and construction projects.
