Base pay range

Location: Some travel to office based in Mt Vernon but primarily site based in NYC

Position Summary

We are seeking a results-driven Senior Project Manager with over 8 years of experience managing complex concrete and masonry projects. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical knowledge, exceptional leadership, and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget. This role is critical in overseeing all phases of project execution — from pre-construction through closeout — ensuring operational excellence, safety compliance, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple concrete and masonry projects from planning through completion.
• Collaborate with estimating, engineering, and field teams during pre-construction to finalize budgets, schedules, and logistics.
• Oversee subcontractor performance, procurement schedules, material deliveries, and labor deployment.
• Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and regulatory standards on-site.
• Maintain proactive communication with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders to manage expectations and resolve issues.
• Track project progress, prepare status reports, and lead project meetings.
• Drive change management and cost control processes, including forecasting and risk mitigation.
• Mentor and develop junior project managers, superintendents, and foremen.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in project management with a focus on concrete and masonry.
• Proven experience managing multi-million dollar commercial and/or industrial projects.
• In-depth knowledge of concrete forming systems, reinforcement, masonry techniques, and industry standards.
• Strong understanding of construction safety standards (OSHA 30 preferred).
• Proficiency in construction software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam, Primavera, etc.).
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a union environment.
• LEED or other industry certifications.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) is an asset.
