Senior Project Manager – High-End Residential Construction

We are a high-end residential construction company with locations in New York and California. For over three decades, I-Grace has been the contractor for discerning homeowners, architects, and designers seeking luxury residential construction. We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team in Long Island City, New York. This role is crucial for managing our prestigious residential projects, ensuring the highest standards of execution, client satisfaction, and financial performance.

Role Overview:

The Senior Project Manager leads our Project Team with full authority over client relationships, budget management, and project execution. This role requires strategic planning, proactive problem-solving, and leadership to guide and develop junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Management: Oversee the financial performance of projects, ensure adherence to budgets, and proactively address budget issues. Review and approve subcontracts, purchase orders, and change orders; monitor expenditures, cash flow, and payment schedules.
2. Project Scheduling: Manage and maintain the project schedule, communicate changes to stakeholders, and lead the team to meet deadlines.
3. Trade Buy-Out & Procurement: Lead negotiations and procurement of trades, evaluate proposals, and make recommendations.
4. Site Oversight & Safety: Ensure safety, quality standards, and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders through regular site visits.
5. Project Administration: Oversee administrative tasks, conduct meetings, and ensure proper documentation. Delegate tasks effectively.
6. Reporting: Complete project reports accurately and timely.
7. Project Close-Out: Manage project completion and handover processes.
8. Team Development: Support professional growth through performance evaluations and career planning.

What You Bring:

• Experience: 7-10 years in construction, leading large or multiple projects, preferably in high-end residential.
• Qualifications: A 4-year degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Skills: Strong organizational, communication, analytical, and leadership skills; proficiency in Procore, Sage/Timberline, MS Project, and MS Office.
• Knowledge: In-depth understanding of contracting processes, building codes, and regulations.

• Compensation: $175,000–$200,000 annually, based on experience.
