About the Opportunity

Our client is a nationally recognized engineering and project delivery firm specializing in complex, large‑scale facilities. They are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead multidisciplinary teams through the full lifecycle of ground‑up data center and mission‑critical infrastructure projects.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment and enjoys overseeing sophisticated technical programs for high‑profile clients.

What You’ll Do
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the client throughout all project phases—from initial proposal discussions through project completion and post‑delivery follow‑ups.
  • Lead and coordinate diverse design and technical teams, including architecture, engineering disciplines, civil, environmental, and specialty consultants.
  • Develop project execution plans, staffing strategies, and schedules; ensure resources are aligned appropriately to meet scope, quality, and timeline requirements.
  • Engage and manage external partners or specialized technical experts when needed, ensuring seamless integration and performance across all contributors.
  • Gain a thorough understanding of the client’s operational structure, key stakeholders, and project expectations to ensure alignment and long‑term relationship success.
  • Oversee the development, review, and maintenance of project documentation, deliverables, and workflows using the client’s established processes.
  • Mentor and support junior project management staff, helping guide their development and ensuring consistency across project execution standards.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related technical discipline.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required due to project requirements and federal compliance standards.
  • Professional licensure (PE or Registered Architect) preferred, or a demonstrated commitment and ability to obtain licensure.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing large-scale engineering or construction projects within the mission‑critical, data center, or high‑performance building sectors.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with multi‑disciplinary, geographically dispersed teams using both virtual and in‑person communication methods.
  • Experience with large renovation, expansion, and new construction (greenfield) projects.
  • Ability to travel periodically for site walks, client meetings, and key project milestones.
  • Must be able to meet background, security, or screening requirements as dictated by client or federal contracts.
  • Authorization to work in the United States (no sponsorship available).
Why This Opportunity Stands Out
  • Opportunity to lead cutting‑edge, highly technical projects for major national and global clients.
  • Robust professional development resources including mentorship, certification support, and continuing education.
  • Competitive benefits package, retirement contributions, and additional technical allowances.
