Job summary

Harris & Associates is seeking a Construction Manager to join our Southern California team. You will plan, direct, and monitor technical aspects of municipal design projects with significant complexity, coordinating engineers and design staff to meet schedules.

Responsibilities include QA/QC, coordinating with project management and leadership, and tracking project financials. A Bachelor's degree in engineering and 5+ years in municipal or transportation projects are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or similar field required.
• 5+ years design experience on municipal or transportation projects.
• Strong project management and client-facing skills required.
• Demonstrates leadership and communication abilities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Independently coordinate work of engineers and balance planning team throughout project development.
• Coordinate staffing and workload to complete documents on schedule.
• Coordinate with marketing and technical leadership for business development.
• Collaborate with Project Management and leadership for project reviews.
• Implement QA/QC procedures and oversee execution including inspections.
• Participate in reviews with governing agencies for code compliance.
• Track financial aspects and adjust team effort to meet schedule.
• Some travel may be required.
