Job summary

RIMEPRO INC is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead heavy civil and public works projects in Southern California from preconstruction through closeout.

You will collaborate with field teams, clients, and agencies to ensure safe, on-time, within-budget delivery while maintaining high quality and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Project Management experience in heavy civil construction.
• Experience managing public works or infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of budgets, forecasting, scheduling, and cost control.
• Experience with change orders, subcontract management, and contract administration.
• Ability to coordinate with public agencies, owners, engineers, and inspectors.
• Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, Primavera P6 or similar.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage heavy civil and public works projects from award through closeout.
• Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, forecasts, and cost reports.
• Lead subcontractor buyout, procurement, and contract administration.
• Prepare and negotiate change orders while managing project financial performance.
• Oversee RFIs, submittals, permits, and project documentation.
• Coordinate with owners, engineers, inspectors, utilities, and public agencies.
• Partner with field teams to maintain schedule, quality, and safety objectives.
• Lead project meetings and provide regular updates to leadership and clients.
• Track project risks and proactively resolve issues impacting cost or schedule.
• Support project closeout, final documentation, and owner turnover.

Summary

A growing heavy civil contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee public works and infrastructure projects throughout Southern California.
