Pro Staff in Lake Charles, LA is seeking a Senior Project Manager with instrumentation, electrical, refining or petrochemical project background to lead capital initiatives from planning through completion.

This role requires 10+ years of PM experience in oil & gas, refining or petrochemical environments, plus strong QA/QC knowledge and the ability to lead engineering, construction and contractor teams while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required
• 10+ years of project management experience in oil & gas, refining, or petrochemical environments
• Experience leading engineering, construction, and contractor teams

Responsibilities

• Lead small to mid-size instrumentation and electrical capital projects
• Develop and execute project plans, budgets, schedules, and forecasts
• Manage contractor selection, bid evaluations, and contract performance
• Oversee procurement, project costs, risk management, and quality programs
• Drive safety performance and ensure compliance with company and industry standards
• Coordinate with operations, maintenance, vendors, and stakeholders
• Monitor project KPIs and provide executive-level project updates
• Lead project closeout activities and ensure successful completion

Pay Rate: $85.00 - $92.00 per hour

Education Requirements

• Strong knowledge of QA/QC standards, project execution processes, and industry regulations
