Advantage Technical is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead instrumentation and electrical capital projects in Lake Charles, LA. The role requires oversight from planning through completion, ensuring budgets, schedules, and safety benchmarks are met across engineering, construction, and contractor teams.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in oil & gas or petrochem, with 5+ years on instrumentation/electrical capital programs, plus strong QA/QC knowledge and regulatory compliance experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• PE license and PMP certification preferred.
• 10+ years of project management experience in oil & gas, refining, or petrochemical environments.
• 5+ years managing instrumentation and electrical capital projects with full project accountability.

Responsibilities

• Lead small to mid-size instrumentation and electrical capital projects.
• Develop and execute project plans, budgets, schedules, and forecasts.
• Manage contractor selection, bid evaluations, and contract performance.
• Oversee procurement, project costs, risk management, and quality programs.
• Drive safety performance and ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
• Coordinate with operations, maintenance, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Monitor project KPIs and provide executive-level project updates.
• Lead project closeout activities and ensure successful completion.
