Role Description

The Senior Project Manager is a full-time, on-site position based in Fresno, CA, responsible for leading and delivering complex water, wastewater, and storm drainage projects from inception through completion. This role includes managing project scope, schedules, budgets, and resources; coordinating multidisciplinary teams; and serving as the primary point of contact for clients and regulatory agencies. The Senior Project Manager will oversee design and construction activities, review technical documents and plans, and ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and permitting requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include organizing project meetings, monitoring progress and risk, guiding junior staff, coordinating with contractors and vendors, and preparing status reports and documentation to support successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Strong project management skills, including Project Management experience in engineering or construction environments.
• Experience as an Expeditor with proficiency in Expediting to ensure timely delivery of materials, approvals, and documentation.
• Inspection experience related to civil, water, wastewater, or infrastructure projects to verify quality and compliance.
• Logistics Management skills to coordinate resources, schedules, and workflows across multiple projects and stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; professional engineering license (PE) in California preferred.
• Demonstrated experience managing municipal or utility infrastructure projects, including design and construction phases.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance, permitting processes, and reporting requirements with state and local agencies.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship skills, with the ability to lead teams and mentor staff.
• Proficiency with project management software and standard office productivity tools.
