Are you a proven leader in water and wastewater infrastructure with a track record of delivering complex, multi-million-dollar projects? Our client, a leading self-performing general contractor specializing in water and wastewater construction, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to join their team.

About the Role

As Senior Project Manager, you will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale water/wastewater treatment facilities, pump stations, pipelines, and related infrastructure. You will be the key driver in managing schedules, budgets, subcontractors, field crews, and client relationships, ensuring excellence in every phase of construction.

Responsibilities

  • Lead multi-million-dollar water/wastewater projects from pre-construction through close-out.
  • Manage project teams, including engineers, superintendents, and self-perform crews.
  • Oversee budgets, schedules, contracts, and project reporting.
  • Coordinate directly with owners, design teams, and regulatory agencies.
  • Ensure safety, quality, and compliance standards are met at every stage.
  • Mentor project engineers and junior managers to strengthen internal talent.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive experience managing complex water/wastewater projects.
  • Proven background working for a self-performing general contractor in water/wastewater construction.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams.
  • Extensive knowledge of construction means, methods, and sequencing for heavy civil and water projects.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and client management skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred).
