Job summary

LeoForce in Folsom, CA is seeking a Senior Water/Wastewater Project Manager to lead design and delivery of water resources infrastructure. You will guide multi-disciplinary teams from planning through construction and maintain client relationships across public utilities and private.clients.

Requirements include a Civil/Environmental Engineering degree, CA PE or eligibility within 1 year, and 10+ years in water/wastewater projects with proficiency in GIS, AutoCAD, Civil3D.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental Engineering or a closely related field with water resources focus.
• PE Registration in California or ability to obtain within 1 year.
• 10+ years of water/wastewater, stormwater planning, design, and construction administration as lead engineer or PM.
• Strong leadership experience, mentoring, and task prioritization.
• Experience with GIS, AutoCAD, Civil3D.
• Levee design experience and stormwater master planning preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead design/technical development of water/wastewater, stormwater infra across planning through construction.
• Manage budgets and delivery schedules to meet client expectations.
• Prepare construction documents, plans and specifications.
• Prepare project cost estimates and schedules.
• Provide supervision and direction to design engineers and staff.
• Coordinate multi-discipline engineering teams.
• Support or lead proposals and client pursuits.
• Serve as primary client-facing leader and develop client relationships.
• Attend meetings with municipal officials, engineers, developers, and agencies.
• Engage with professional organizations.

What You'll Do

• Lead and direct design/technical development of infrastructure projects within the areas of water/wastewater, stormwater, including supply, storage, collection and distribution, treatment, and pumping/conveyance systems from the planning and design phases through construction completion
• Delivery of projects to meet established budgets and delivery schedules to the performance expectations of the client
• Prepare construction documents, including plans and specifications
• Prepare project cost estimates and schedules
• Provide overall supervision and technical direction and expertise to a team of design engineers and technical staff
• Coordinate multi-disciplined engineering teams
• Support or lead the preparation and development of proposals and strategic client pursuits
• Serve as a primary client-facing leader, strengthen relationships, understand client objectives, and identify opportunities
• Attend meetings with municipal officials, other engineers, developers, permitting agencies, and contractors
• Actively participate in relevant professional organizations

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental Engineering, or a closely related engineering field with a focus in water resources, environmental, or hydraulic engineering
• PE Registration in California, or ability to obtain CA registration within 1 yr
• 10+ years of experience in water/wastewater, stormwater planning, design, and construction administration as a lead design engineer or project manager
• Strong team leadership experience or proven potential, including managing project delivery expectations, prioritization of tasks, and mentoring
• Experience with GIS, AutoCAD, and Civil3D
• Experience with levee design efforts, including evaluation, analysis, and preparation of engineering design documents is preferred
• Stormwater system design projects, including drainage infrastructure, and comprehensive stormwater master planning are preferred
