Job summary

MXI Partners in Texas seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager with a background in data center construction to lead end-to-end delivery in the DFW area.

You will serve as Owner’s Representative, coordinating architects, engineers, GCs, and vendors, while driving scheduling, budgeting, and risk management across critical infrastructure systems.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive construction project management experience.
• Extensive experience in data center construction end to end.
• Demonstrated general contracting experience, managing subcontractors and owner/owner's rep relations.
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills, and strong technical proficiency across PM programs/tools.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Owner’s Representative and lead project delivery from pre-construction through construction, commissioning, and closeout.
• Manage and coordinate architects, engineers, GCs, specialty contractors, vendors, commissioning agents, and other project stakeholders.
• Lead project planning, design management, constructability reviews, procurement, value engineering, and development of project execution strategies.
• Oversee construction activities to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to required quality standards.
• Manage project budgets, cost forecasts, change orders, contracts, payment applications, commercial risks, and overall financial performance.
• Develop and maintain master schedules, monitor critical path activities, and mitigate schedule and project risks.
• Provide strong technical oversight across electrical, mechanical, controls, cooling, generators, UPS, MV/HV systems, and other data center infrastructure.
• Coordinate commissioning, integrated systems testing, punch list, documentation, training, and operational handover.
• Build trusted relationships with Owners, contractors, consultants, utilities, authorities, and other stakeholders with executive-level reporting.

MXI Partners are working with an established Owner's Representative firm in Texas. Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with a background in data center construction and general contracting to lead the end to end delivery of some of the most exciting mission critical developments in the DFW area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the Owner’s Representative and lead project delivery from pre-construction through construction, commissioning, and closeout.
• Manage and coordinate architects, engineers, General Contractors, specialty contractors, vendors, commissioning agents, and other project stakeholders.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of progressive construction project management experience
• Extensive experience in managing data center construction projects end to end, overseeing general and primary contractors
• Demonstrated general contracting experience, with a background in managing subcontractors and owner/owner's rep relations
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills, and strong technical proficiency across various project management programs and tools

Compensation and Benefits:

• 20% annual bonus
