Job summary

Thor is seeking a Senior Project Manager – Construction to lead hyperscale data center projects in the Dallas market. You will manage projects from preconstruction through commissioning and handover, ensuring on-schedule delivery, budget adherence, and safety.

You will act as owner’s representative, coordinating with internal development teams, external general contractors, design consultants, and stakeholders to maintain quality, CX, and risk controls across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction PM experience focusing on hyperscale data centers.
• Experience with owner/operator or top-tier GC delivering large-scale projects.
• Proven track record managing projects valued at $200M+.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems in data centers (power, cooling, redundancy).
• Full lifecycle delivery from preconstruction to handover.
• Familiarity with QA/QC and commissioning in mission-critical environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of hyperscale data center construction projects.
• Act as the primary owner’s representative with full accountability for project performance.
• Manage general contractors, subcontractors, and consultants across all phases.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, and cost controls, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Drive preconstruction activities including design coordination, value engineering, and procurement strategy.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, commissioning processes (QA/QC & CX), and operational readiness.
• Monitor and enforce health & safety compliance across all site activities.
• Coordinate with internal development, design, operations, and finance teams.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively resolving issues to maintain progress.
• Provide regular reporting to senior leadership on project status, milestones, and key risks.

Seeking a Senior Project Manager – Construction to lead the delivery of hyperscale data center projects in the Dallas market. This individual will be responsible for managing projects from preconstruction through commissioning and handover, ensuring delivery on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.

This role will interface directly with internal development teams, external general contractors, design consultants, and key stakeholders, acting as the owner’s representative throughout the full project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Preferred Experience
