Job summary

Haydon Healy is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to own large-scale data center projects from preconstruction through turnover. This 100% travel role includes a rotation and requires site-based work in Texas, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and maintaining client relationships throughout the lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in project management with a leading GC, strong leadership and communications skills, and a track record managing $100M+ projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience with a leading General Contractor.
• Hyperscale data center experience preferred.
• Experience managing projects valued at $100M+ from preconstruction through turnover.
• Strong leadership and communication for large teams.
• Willingness to work on a site-based basis in Texas.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of large-scale data center projects ensuring safety, schedule, budget, and quality.
• Manage project teams including Project Managers, Project Engineers, Superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, and trade partners.
• Take ownership of project financials including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, procurement, change management, and risk mitigation.
• Lead preconstruction activities including estimating, constructability reviews, value engineering, subcontractor procurement, scope development, and project planning.
• Coordinate all major construction disciplines including structural, architectural, mechanical, MEP, civil, site development, and mission-critical systems.
• Manage subcontractor performance, contract negotiations, change orders, schedule commitments, quality, and overall project execution.
• Work closely with the owner, design team, consultants, subcontractors, and internal field teams to resolve issues and maintain project momentum.
• Drive project scheduling, coordination, reporting, commissioning, closeout, and final turnover.
• Maintain strong client relationships and act as a key point of contact throughout the project lifecycle.

They are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to take ownership of major data center projects from preconstruction through construction, commissioning, and turnover. This is a 100% travel position which offers a rotation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the overall delivery of large-scale data center projects, ensuring safety, schedule, budget, quality, and client expectations are achieved.
• Manage project teams including Project Managers, Project Engineers, Superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, and trade partners.

• Willingness to work on a site‑based basis in Texas.
