Why Redmond?

We’re a best-in-class general contractor driven by a passion for transforming spaces and providing top tier service to our clients. Named one of Crain’s Best Places to Work five years running, our team consists of collaborative, hardworking professionals who bring empathy, integrity, perseverance, and curiosity to complex, high-stakes projects. Team members at every level show up with humility and respect, supporting one another through challenges and staying accountable for delivering work the right way.

Our teams support projects across workplace, amenity, hospitality, healthcare, lab and life sciences, and education sectors. Our vision is to be the strongest pound-for-pound general contractor by delivering exceptional value and exceeding expectations. By doing what’s right, asking questions, and continuously improving, we’re building more than spaces–we’re building an inclusive, innovative future for our industry.

What We Need:

This role is responsible for driving the successful delivery of complex, high-value construction projects while also contributing to business growth and team development. This role owns client relationships at a strategic level, leads project teams through all phases of execution, and ensures strong financial performance, risk management, and operational excellence. The Senior Project Manager plays a key role in business development by identifying new opportunities, leading pursuits, and representing the company in client-facing engagements. In addition to project delivery, this role mentors and develops Project Managers and junior staff, drives best practices across teams, and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives. Success in this role requires strong leadership, business acumen, and the ability to balance project execution with client engagement and long-term growth.

What You’ll Do:
Leadership, Collaboration & Professional Development
  • Consistently model and reinforce our core values of empathy, perseverance, integrity, and curiosity through your decision-making and execution
  • Manage and grow strong, positive relationships with clients, project partners, architects, end users, and owners
  • Represent the company at kickoff, mid-project, and closeout gatherings to strengthen relationships and leave a lasting impression
  • Actively participate in industry-related organizations and extracurricular professional activities
  • Proactively identify and pursue new business development opportunities, including lead generation and pursuits
  • Build confidence in interviewing, presenting, and pitching to prospective clients
  • Provide mentorship, oversight, and support to Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Project Coordinators
  • Lead onboarding and training for new team members; present ongoing process improvement and best-practice trainings
  • Deliver performance feedback and contribute to formal reviews for direct reports
  • Delegate effectively, oversee workload balance, and ensure follow-through on all delegated tasks through completion
  • Maintain proactive, clear, and professional communication with project partners, preferring verbal outreach followed by written documentation
  • Demonstrate autonomy in managing project issues by presenting both the problem and potential solutions; elevate to Team Lead only as needed
  • Foster a positive, accountable team environment—celebrating team successes and taking ownership of challenges
Business, Financial & Operational Effectiveness
  • Participate in the prime contract process, including negotiation and alignment with company standards, with oversight from your Team Lead
  • Lead Trade Partner selection, interviews, awards, and buyouts
  • Lead creation of Scopes of Work, Exhibit A documents, and the Schedule of Values for all Work Orders
  • Monitor project financial performance: oversee budgets, manage contingency, allowances, and general requirements, and ensure alignment with profit goals
  • Ensure timely delivery of accounting questionnaires, pencil draw submissions, and change order/claims approvals
  • Manage claims, financial reconciliation, and closeout processes, including contingency resolution and Day 2 work planning
  • Provide accurate and timely pricing to clients for Change Orders, Day 2 work, and Service work
  • Maintain organized financial tracking and documentation to support transparency and accuracy throughout the project lifecycle
Project Management, Coordination, & Execution
  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects and tasks, ensuring each receives appropriate attention and alignment with Team Lead on critical decisions
  • Lead initial project setup, including permitting, project folder creation, and schedule development in partnership with the Superintendent
  • Coordinate and run kickoff meetings to align team members on expectations, procurement strategy, schedule, profit targets, and responsibilities
  • Maintain comprehensive awareness of project milestones, deliverables, and critical path items
  • Lead OAC meetings, delegating agenda and minute preparation while ensuring accuracy, alignment, and thorough documentation
  • Maintain detailed and organized documentation during project pursuits and execution to ensure full team alignment
  • Set and monitor hard deadlines with trade partners for claims, change orders, and pencil values
  • Provide strategic oversight of field teams, trade partners, and vendors, ensuring alignment with project goals
  • Build and maintain a strong PM–Superintendent partnership, ensuring field teams are set up for success and project commitments are delivered as promised
  • Facilitate punch list completion, quality control, and project closeout
  • Lead final project debriefs and lessons-learned sessions; share insights with the broader company
Technical Effectiveness & Quality
  • Take full ownership of project delivery, including drawing and construction document review, RFIs, and submittal management
  • Maintain proficiency in project management and scheduling software; continuously seek ways to improve efficiency and support training of junior staff
  • Ensure consistent organization of project communication, documentation, and workflows across all platforms
  • Demonstrate advanced understanding of construction processes, drawings, documents, RFIs, and submittals
  • Apply strong attention to detail and quality control across all project documentation and execution
  • Maintain knowledge of permitting workflows and project setup procedures, and demonstrate proficiency in scheduling concepts and critical path awareness
What You’ll Bring:
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of experience as a Commercial Interior Project Manager, with a proven track record managing highly detailed, high-value corporate interior projects
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Project Management, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered

  • Strong ability to win and execute profitable, high-quality projects, including pitching and interviewing for new client work
  • Professional communication skills with clients, project partners, and stakeholders
  • Proven success in client retention, relationship management, and delivering a premier client experience
  • Confident leadership of project teams, with the ability to mentor and support junior team members
