Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead, collaborate, and foster professional development within our team on commercial construction projects. This role is pivotal in modeling our core values of empathy, perseverance, and curiosity while making strategic decisions and executing projects. You'll manage and nurture strong relationships with clients, data center operators, project partners, and other stakeholders. The role also involves spearheading business development initiatives and effectively communicating with all project partners.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and build positive relationships with clients, project partners, and stakeholders.
  • Participate in business development efforts and lead new business initiatives.
  • Represent the company at various project-related gatherings.
  • Communicate proactively and clearly with project partners.
  • Manage project issues by presenting problems and potential solutions.
  • Deliver performance feedback and contribute to formal reviews.
  • Delegate effectively and support junior staff.
  • Mentor Project Engineers and Project Coordinators.
  • Participate in onboarding and training for new team members.
  • Ensure project requirements are completed accurately and to standard.
  • Observe and manage the prime contract process.
  • Participate in trade partner selection and procurement planning.
  • Monitor project financial performance and oversee budgets.
  • Ensure timely delivery of accounting questionnaires and approvals.
  • Manage claims, financial reconciliation, and closeout costs.
  • Manage multiple large-scale mission critical projects concurrently.
  • Coordinate with field leadership and client teams for successful project execution.
  • Maintain strong understanding of project financial structure and delivery requirements.
Essential Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in managing commercial interior and other construction projects.
  • Proficiency in project scheduling, procurement, scope development, contract review, financial oversight, risk management, and commissioning coordination.
  • Strong understanding of mission critical project delivery, commissioning processes, operational readiness, and turnover requirements.
  • Proven ability to foster client retention and lead high-performing teams.
  • Exceptional people management skills with an empathetic, team-centered leadership approach.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with projects valued at $1M+.
  • Demonstrated integrity and reliability in leadership roles.
  • Ability to mentor junior staff and support their development.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $180000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
