Job summary

• PM experience in commercial construction (GC background preferred).
• Experience with ground-up or major commercial projects.
• Strong scheduling, budgeting, contracts and project controls knowledge.
• Based in or able to work in the Charlotte, NC market.

• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders and project documentation.

• Identify project risks and proactively resolve issues.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule and within budget.

Placed Recruitment is working with an established General Contractor looking to add an experienced Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to its growing team in Charlotte, NC.

This is an opportunity for a construction professional with strong commercial GC experience to take ownership of projects from preconstruction through final closeout while working alongside experienced operations and field teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through completion
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, procurement and subcontractor performance
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders and project documentation
• Coordinate closely with Superintendents and field teams

Requirements

• Previous Project Manager or Senior Project Manager experience within commercial construction
• General Contractor experience strongly preferred
• Experience managing ground-up and/or major commercial construction projects
• Strong understanding of construction scheduling, budgeting, contracts and project controls
• Experience managing subcontractors and project teams
• Strong communication and client-facing skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities throughout the construction lifecycle
• Based in or able to work in the Charlotte, NC market
