Job summary

Imperium Global in North Carolina is seeking an experienced Commercial Project Manager to lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will coordinate with owners, architects, subcontractors and internal teams to ensure safety, on-time delivery, and profitability.

You will manage budgets, schedules, cost forecasting and contract administration, while mentoring Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers.

Qualifications

• Previous Project Management experience with a General Contractor.
• Strong understanding of schedules, budgets, contracts and subcontractor management.
• Experience managing projects through full construction lifecycle.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6 or similar.

My client is an established General Contractor with a strong presence across North Carolina. Due to continued growth and a healthy project pipeline, they are looking to hire an experienced Commercial Project Manager to join their team.

They deliver a diverse portfolio of ground-up and renovation projects across the commercial construction sector, including healthcare, education, hospitality, retail, office, multifamily and mixed-use developments.

The Role

As Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing commercial construction projects from preconstruction through final completion. You will work closely with Superintendents, owners, architects, subcontractors and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule and within budget.

Experience Required

My client is looking for candidates with:

• Knowledge of construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6 or similar.
• A degree in Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline is preferred but not essential.
