Senior Construction Project Manager – Charlotte, NC

Base pay range: $130,000 – $150,000 per year with annual bonus approximately $35,000 – $60,000. 401(k) match and strong benefits.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the construction project from start to finish.
• Execute project planning, budgeting, and identification of resources.
• Create teams, develop objectives/goals for each, and assign individual responsibilities.
• Work closely with superintendents to coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Project accounting functions including managing the budget, tracking team expenses, and minimizing exposure and risk.
• Ensure construction activities move according to pre-determined schedule.
• Devise the project work plans and make revisions as necessary.
• Communicate effectively with contractors responsible for completing various phases.
• Coordinate the efforts of all parties involved, including architects, consultants, contractors, sub-contractors, and laborers.
• Monitor progress of construction activities on a regular basis and hold status meetings.
• Maintain strict adherence to budgetary guidelines, quality and safety standards.
• Perform periodic inspection of construction sites.
