Job description

Arena Staffing has partnered with a confidential national construction and program management company that is hiring a Senior Project Manager to lead high-volume, multi-site construction rollout programs.

This is a senior leadership opportunity for someone who has strong construction execution experience, understands fast-paced retail, restaurant, QSR, or commercial rollout work, and can lead teams through complex schedules, budgets, client expectations, field issues, subcontractor coordination, and closeout. This is not just a desk-based project management role. The right person will be construction‑savvy, decisive, client‑facing, and comfortable serving as the escalation point when issues need to be solved quickly.

This role includes approximately 30% nationwide travel for project needs, site visits, client meetings, escalations, kickoff meetings, program reviews, and field support.

Why This Role Is Worth a Conversation
  • True Senior Leadership Seat: Lead PMs, Field PMs, Coordinators, subcontractors, vendors, and field partners across active multi‑site construction programs.
  • National Program Exposure: Support rollout, remodel, rebrand, refresh, facade, fixture, LED retrofit, and tenant improvement programs across multiple markets.
  • High‑Impact Delivery Role: Own the delivery lifecycle from scope alignment and budgeting through scheduling, execution, client communication, billing, punch lists, and closeout.
  • Client‑Facing Visibility: Serve as a trusted point of contact for clients and internal leadership when schedules, budgets, site conditions, or escalations require strong decision‑making.
  • Fast‑Paced Construction Environment: Join a team that values speed, accountability, communication, and practical field problem‑solving.
  • Build Scalable Processes: Create playbooks, guardrails, and repeatable processes that help PMs and field teams execute consistently across programs.
  • Team Development: Mentor and lead project teams in a high‑pressure delivery environment while helping people grow under your leadership.
  • Travel With Purpose: This role includes approximately 30% nationwide travel tied to active projects, kickoff meetings, progress checks, client needs, escalations, punch walks, and closeout support.
  • Strong Compensation Package: Competitive base compensation, benefits, paid time off, 401(k), and role‑dependent travel or vehicle support.
Role Snapshot

The Senior Project Manager will lead cross‑functional construction teams responsible for end‑to‑end delivery of multi‑site rollout programs. This person will own scope, schedules, budgets, subcontractor performance, field coordination, client communication, reporting, billing alignment, punch lists, and closeout.

The role requires someone who can bring structure to fast‑moving projects, make timely decisions, protect client trust, and help teams execute consistently across multiple locations.

  • Balance speed, quality, cost, schedule, safety, client expectations, and field realities.
  • Serve as the central escalation point when field issues, client concerns, budget pressure, or schedule risks arise.
  • Build recovery plans when projects are at risk of missing schedule, budget, or client expectations.
  • Create process guardrails and playbooks so project teams have clear direction and repeatable execution standards.
  • Partner with internal leadership to improve coordination across reporting, billing, documentation, field updates, punch lists, and closeout.
  • Travel nationwide approximately 30% of the time for client meetings, site walks, escalations, kickoff meetings, program reviews, project support, and closeout needs.
