Job summary

Ryan Companies US, Inc. in Dallas is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex construction programs from inception to closeout. The role demands 10+ years of PM experience on contracts valued at $10–$100M+, plus a bachelor's degree in construction management or construction engineering.

You will manage budgets, schedules, procurement, and client negotiations while mentoring a team and ensuring project profitability and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • At least 10 years of experience in project management with contract values from $10–$100M+.
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management or construction engineering.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Project and Proliance.
  • Advanced knowledge of construction means and methods, building types, estimating, scheduling, cost control, material pricing and design management.

Responsibilities

  • Develop contacts and quickly build relationships with potential customers.
  • Effectively negotiate business and legal provisions of construction contracts.
  • Consistently achieve high levels of quality, design and profitability on projects assigned to the team.
  • Assure the team's accounts receivables are managed effectively and collected promptly.
  • Assure the team's warranty issues are resolved promptly and effectively.
  • Assure that general team administrative responsibilities are carried out promptly and accurately.
  • Participate or lead owner/client presentations and negotiations.
  • Oversee design development, budget preparation and development of project schedules.
  • Supervise team of Project Engineers, Sr. Project Engineers, Project Managers I & II, and Project Assistants, as required, depending on assigned project(s).
  • Play a key role in developing procurement strategy including preparing bid documents, negotiating and awarding subcontracts.

Ryan Companies US, Inc. has an immediate career opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to join our team in Dallas!

To be successful in this role, you must have at least 10 years of experience in project management with contract values from $10-$100M+. A bachelor's degree in construction management or construction engineering is required. You must have knowledge of Microsoft Project and Proliance. Advanced knowledge of construction means and methods, building types, estimating, scheduling, cost control, material pricing and design management is required.
