Job summary

Innovien Solutions is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead major capital infrastructure projects in the power generation sector. This role focuses on ownership of delivery from planning to completion, coordinating logistics, engineering, procurement, and site operations.

You will drive multi-year, multi-million dollar programs, manage cross-functional teams, and navigate complex schedules and budgets to ensure on-schedule, on-budget delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience leading large capital infrastructure projects end to end.
• Direct exposure to the logistics of moving heavy equipment across long distances.
• Power plant construction experience is a major plus.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive execution of large-scale capital infrastructure project(s) within the Power & Gas industry, from planning through completion.
• Manage project schedule, budget, scope, and risk across multiple workstreams and stakeholders.
• Coordinate closely with logistics, construction, engineering, and site teams on movement and staging of large equipment across long distances.
• Track and report project status, risks, and milestones to leadership.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to keep the project on schedule and on budget.
• Anticipate and resolve issues that arise from the scale and complexity of large capital infrastructure builds.
• Represent the project in leadership and stakeholder reviews.

Job description

Innovien is seeking a Senior Project Manager to support large capital projects in the power generation industry. This role sits on the delivery side of infrastructure builds, not the OEM services or field commissioning side. The ideal candidate has led major infrastructure or industrial construction projects end to end, understands the complexity of moving large, heavy equipment across long distances, and is comfortable operating in a power generation, industrial construction, or heavy process environment. This is a high visibility opportunity to own a flagship capital build from the ground up and shape how power gets delivered at massive scale!

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• Proven track record running large capital infrastructure projects end to end, as an owner's-side or delivery-side Project Manager, not from the OEM services/field commissioning side
• Direct exposure to the logistics of moving large, heavy equipment across long distances (e.g., turbines, generators, major capital equipment) — a PM who has managed or worked closely alongside that logistics workstream
• Power plant construction experience is a major plus
• Alternatively, strong candidates may come from heavy industrial construction backgrounds: chemical plants, steel mills, or oil & gas facilities
• Strong schedule, budget, and risk management discipline on multi-year, multi-million dollar capital projects
• Comfortable operating independently and owning outcomes on a long-duration engagement
