Job summary

LVI Associates seeks a Project Manager to lead complex, customer-facing projects in the electrical power sector, supporting grid modernization and energy transition nationwide. You will oversee initiatives from initiation to closeout, manage scope, schedules, budgets, and risks, and collaborate across engineering, operations, and leadership teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
  • PMP certification or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of project management experience in electric power utilities or related.
  • Experience delivering customer-facing utility or grid modernization projects.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Project Manager, you'll oversee multiple concurrent projects from initiation through execution and closeout while serving as a key liaison between customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing project scope, schedules, budgets, deliverables, and risk mitigation plans
  • Leading cross-functional teams across engineering, operations, quality, manufacturing, and field services
  • Developing and maintaining detailed project schedules and execution plans
  • Monitoring project financials, forecasting costs, and reporting status to leadership
  • Facilitating stakeholder meetings and driving accountability across project teams
  • Managing customer relationships and ensuring successful project delivery
  • Supporting proposal development, budgeting, and future project opportunities
  • Driving continuous improvement and change management initiatives
  • Ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and operational standards
What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field
  • 5+ years of project management experience within the electric power industry
  • PMP certification (or equivalent project management credential)
  • Proven experience delivering customer-facing utility, power systems, or electrical infrastructure projects
  • Strong knowledge of project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management
  • Experience with Microsoft Project, Asana, or similar PM tools
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
Highly Preferred Experience
  • Utility, transmission, distribution, or substation projects
  • Medium and high-voltage electrical equipment
  • Electrical equipment manufacturing environments
  • Data center power infrastructure
  • Commissioning, testing, and startup activities
