Newrez LLC is seeking a Principal Project Manager to lead comprehensive IT and business projects from strategy through delivery. The role requires coordinating across departments, managing budgets, risks, and schedules, and delivering value while aligning with company goals.

The ideal candidate brings robust governance, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills to ensure successful, on-time project outcomes within a fast-paced mortgage environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, economics, or related field is preferred.
• Minimum 7 years driving projects from end-to-end.
• PMI or equivalent Project Management certification is preferred.
• Experience with Business Objects, NetSuite, FiServ, or similar systems is desirable.
• Ability to partner with IT and business teams across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Develops high-level and detailed project plans and ensures scope is understood by all stakeholders.
• Identifies and tracks key project milestones and baselines critical path.
• Manages risks, issues, budgets, forecasts, and actuals to maximize business value.
• Leads cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Provides regular project status updates to stakeholders and sponsors.
• Facilitates post-implementation reviews and captures lessons learned.
• Ensures compliance with organizational policies and governance.
