Job summary

BerryDunn is seeking a Senior Consultant/Project Manager to join our State Government Practice Group, focused on serving state Health and Human Services agency clients. You will lead project teams, manage IT system planning and procurement, and deliver IV&V, QA/testing, and related IT projects.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years working with state government agencies, a technology-related bachelor’s, and a PMP certification.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field.
PMP certification from PMI.
4+ years of experience working with and/or for state government agencies.
Knowledge of state government HHS programs and services.
Strong customer focus and ability to lead project teams.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
MS Office suite proficiency including PowerPoint, Project, Visio and Excel.

Responsibilities

Lead BerryDunn projects for state HHS agency clients, including project management, IT system planning and procurement support, and QA/testing.
Manage delivery of services to clients on time and budget, overseeing staff and deliverables.
Develop project approaches and work plans, and coordinate tasks across team members.
Report project status to client executives, including risks and issues.
Inspire and mentor project teams and act as trusted advisor to clients.
Facilitate meetings with client stakeholders with professionalism.
Maintain focus on high‑quality services in line with BerryDunn's Consulting Quality Management Program.
