Job summary

ARM Group LLC seeks a Project Geologist II to join a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, geologists, and environmental professionals supporting landfills and solid waste facilities in PA and surrounding regions.

The role offers increasing responsibility in technical work, project management, regulatory coordination, and client relationships. Office locations include West Chester, PA, Hershey, PA, or Marlton, NJ.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Geoscience, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of environmental consulting experience.
• PA PG license or ability to obtain licensure through reciprocity.
• Experience with hydrogeologic investigations and groundwater monitoring.
• Strong writing and data evaluation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate with regulators.

Responsibilities

• Support preparation of landfill permit applications, permit modifications, renewals, and groundwater monitoring reports.
• Plan, manage, and perform hydrogeologic investigations at landfills and solid waste facilities.
• Evaluate groundwater flow, quality, geologic conditions, and potential impacts.
• Manage groundwater monitoring and assessment programs, including data evaluation.
• Design and oversee monitoring well installation, drilling, aquifer testing, sampling, and field investigations.
• Coordinate with PADEP and other agencies regarding permitting and compliance.
• Communicate with clients, labs, contractors, and project team members.
