Job summary

Terracon in Savannah, GA seeks a Senior Geologist/Hydrogeologist to evaluate subsurface data, interpret soils and groundwater, and develop site assessment conclusions. Required: a Bachelor's in Geology or related field with 7+ years of experience; PG registration; strong leadership and communication skills; valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Geology, Hydrogeology or related field with 7+ years' experience.
• Master's degree or PhD preferred.
• Ability to obtain Professional Geologist (PG) registration.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate subsurface field data and interpret soils and groundwater.
• Develop subsurface maps and cross-sections; collaborate with staff.
• Oversee field monitoring, boring investigations and soil classification.
• Prepare plans and written reports for site investigations and remediation.
• Lead medium-scale projects and mentor junior geologists.
