Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8-10 years of verifiable experience in LARGE ($20M+) commercial construction (Higher education, healthcare, advanced technology, life sciences, office buildings, etc.).
• Design build experience is a plus.
• Four-year degree in Construction Management (or related field) AND applicable field work experience in the Company core markets.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project team members across multiple projects/geographies.
• Champion project safety and risk management.
• Mentor Project Managers and Superintendents for career growth.
• Manage overall project financials and communicate to leadership.
• Inform VP of employee development and performance issues.
• Understand contract terms and negotiate risk issues.
• Develop subcontract and purchase order exhibits for buyout.
• Collaborate on project scheduling to meet energy savings goals.
• Monitor change management and timely progress billings.
• Ensure monthly reporting and lead monthly project meetings.
• Forecast accurately with project managers.
• Resolve open risk issues and act as client lead.
• Build strong relationships with contractors, vendors, and owners.
• Ensure adherence to company policies on projects.
• Participate in industry/community activities.
