Job summary

Therma LLC is seeking a highly motivated Senior Mechanical Engineer with 8+ years in HVAC design-build. You will mentor engineers, oversee multiple projects, and directly engage with clients to deliver high-quality mechanical designs from concept through construction documents.

You will coordinate across disciplines, ensure design quality, and manage submittals and RFIs. CA PE license and LEED knowledge are preferred; immigration sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field required.
• Minimum 8 years in mechanical engineering, HVAC emphasis.
• Licensed PE in California; MEOR responsibilities as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead design-build projects from concept to construction documents.
• Mentor engineers and guide project teams; interface with clients.
• Coordinate across MEP disciplines for timely progress.
• Review drawings/submittals and ensure contract conformance.
• Stay current with industry trends and LEED considerations.
