The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of industry experience, hands-on management of large projects, and OSHA 30 certification. Exceptional communication, problem solving, and the ability to work independently are essential for success

Qualifications

• 10+ years of related industry experience.
• Hands-on management of projects exceeding $10m.
• Experience leading a team of at least three managers.
• OSHA 30-hour certification and knowledge of OSHA safety regulations.
• Ability to read project documents in English.
• Proficient with common business technology (laptops, tablets, smartphones; Microsoft Teams).

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the project management team for Central Virginia Construction.
• Maintain customer relationships and pursue future business opportunities.
• Review cost-to-complete (CTC) with Project Managers and participate in monthly CTC meetings.
• Ensure consistency in project management practices.
• Assist in estimating bid reviews and sales presentations.
• Forecast, budget, and assist strategic planning with leadership.
• Communicate changes and company information to project teams.
• Maintain responsibility for cash flow (billings and collections) for all projects.
• Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and talent management.
• Provide coaching, feedback and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
