Job summary

The PX will lead reporting, safety, quality, and client relations, develop standard operating procedures for the Project Management Department, and guide business development pursuits, proposals, and interviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, or related field; master's preferred.
• 15+ years of lead management experience on large-scale construction projects.
• Proficient in cost reporting and Microsoft Office; scheduling knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Generate leads and pursue business development opportunities with industry contacts.
• Lead the work acquisition process: profitability plans, proposal development, interviews.
• Define RFP strategy: staffing, budgets, risks, schedule, and logistics.
• Assign staff to manage project scope and complexities.
• Oversee preconstruction budgeting, scheduling, logistics, risks, and constructability.
• Provide oversight from preconstruction to project close-out; ensure continuity.
• Lead client communications, meetings, and proper escalation of issues.
• Negotiate owner contracts and oversee subcontract development.
• Mentor and coach staff; conduct performance evaluations every 6 months.
