Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Project Executive to provide executive oversight for multiple commercial construction projects in Kentucky from award through completion. You will drive schedules, budgets, and quality, while mentoring Project Managers and overseeing subcontractor relations.

The role requires a proven Sr leadership background in construction, strong financial acumen, and excellent communication to align with owners and design teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in CM, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Proven experience leading Sr construction teams and projects.
• Extensive commercial construction PM experience delivering on time and within budget.
• Strong knowledge of scheduling, cost control, contract administration, risk, and safety practices.
• Excellent budget review, forecasting, and financial data interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive oversight for multiple commercial construction projects from award to completion.
• Set project goals and ensure schedules, budgets, and quality standards alignment.
• Lead planning, execution, and closeout with project teams.
• Review staffing, manning, equipment, and material needs.
• Set performance expectations and promote accountability and growth.
• Mentor Project Managers and engineers to build high-performing teams.
• Maintain relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Address client objectives and provide solutions throughout the lifecycle.
• Support contract negotiations and change management with Sr leadership.
• Monitor budgets, cash flow, and cost projections; implement cost controls.
• Identify and mitigate project risks with corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with contracts, safety, and quality standards.
• Present cost projections, progress updates, and risk assessments to leadership and clients.
• Support BD efforts by presenting professionally to clients and partners.
