Nextpower Inc in Fremont, California seeks a Manager of Project Engineering to lead a team delivering fully integrated distributed-generation solar projects from 5 MW to 30 MW. You will set engineering standards, guide multi-disciplinary design, and optimize cost, schedule, and reliability while ensuring quality and compliance.

This role reports to the Nashville-based Manager of Project Engineering. The position requires strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and expertise in tracker

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related field with 8–12 years of experience
• Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering activities for utility-scale, distributed-generation, or complex solar projects
• Ability to develop and implement scalable engineering standards, procedures, and reviews
• Experience applying value engineering, constructability reviews, and design optimization
• Strong communication, organizational, and project-management skills
• Proficiency with MS Office and CAD tools (AutoCAD) and willingness to work across regions

Responsabilidades

• Lead and develop a team of project engineers for 5–30 MW solar projects
• Provide advanced technical direction for tracker layouts, CAD blocks, mechanical/eBOS designs
• Evaluate site inputs, codes, standards, and constraints to determine engineering approaches
• Lead product selection based on site conditions, economics, and customer needs
• Coordinate with structural, geotech, civil, electrical, and operations teams on design and delivery
• Develop and implement engineering standards and quality control processes
