PCL Construction, Inc. in El Paso, Texas is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to play a key role on a water treatment facility project. The ideal candidate will have concrete construction experience and a desire to learn mechanical scopes with forecasting and financials.

Qualifications

• Requires associates or bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture preferred, or equivalent experience.
• 4–6 years of construction experience in an operational role preferred.
• Proven knowledge of construction equipment, drawings, specs, HSE, quality and materials.

Responsibilities

• Perform quantity takeoffs and surveys to manage contract progress, reporting and change management.
• Manage subcontracted scopes and administer subcontracts and work scope.
• Review broader contract obligations and assist site manager in startup activities.
• Review subcontractors’ submittals for scope, design and coordination before design-team review.
• Assist with site inspection and witness system commissioning.
• Identify potential risks on project scopes and project.
• Other duties as required.
