Job summary

PCL Construction, Inc. in El Paso, TX is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead a water treatment facility project. The ideal candidate has concrete construction experience and an interest in mechanical scopes, forecasting, and financials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in construction-related field.
• 4–6 years of construction experience in an operational role.
• Ability to read drawings and specifications and adhere to HSE standards.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs quantity takeoffs and surveys to manage contract progress, reporting, and change management.
• Maintains complex subcontracted scopes and subcontract administration, including defining work scope and progress.
• Reviews contract obligations and assists site manager in project start-up activities.
• Reviews subcontractors’ submittals for compliance with scope and design documentation.
• Assists with site inspections by the design team and witnesses and signs off on system commissioning.
