PCL Construction, Inc. in Long Beach, California, seeks a Senior Project Engineer to support the preconstruction phase of a water/wastewater project. The ideal candidate brings initiative in contracts, forecasting, and scheduling, with water/wastewater and preconstruction experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in contracts, forecasting, and scheduling.
• Ability to manage subcontracted scopes and change management.
• Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety standards.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs quantity takeoffs and surveys to manage contract progress and change.
• Maintains contracts including work scope definition and subcontract administration.
• Reviews subcontractors' submittals and coordinates with design teams.
• Assists with site inspections and witnesses systems commissioning.
• Identifies potential risks on project scopes.
