Metric Geo in Chicago is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead wastewater collection system projects, directing planning, design and infrastructure improvements.

You will own technical work, interact with clients, and mentor junior engineers within a growing team, with opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications include a BSc in Civil Engineering, a PE license is preferred, and 6+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• BSc in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred.
• 6+ years of relevant engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the design of wastewater collection system projects.
• Prepare engineering plans, specifications, reports and technical deliverables.
• Manage project tasks, schedules and budgets.
• Work closely with clients, contractors and internal project teams.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers.
• Support field investigations and assessment of existing collection systems.
• Contribute to proposals and business development activities.
