RTX's Collins Aerospace in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a Senior Engineer Project Engineer (PE) / Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead an engineering team delivering mission-critical capabilities to the warfighter. The role focuses on program management, systems engineering, and collaboration with software, hardware, and firmware teams.

Candidates must have a STEM degree and 8+ years, active SECRET clearance, and U.S. citizenship.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEM degree and 8+ years of experience in engineering or program management.
• Experience with avionics development, verification/validation, and interfaces is preferred.
• Active and transferable SECRET clearance is required; U.S. citizenship is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering teams and coordinate with leadership and customers on multiple programs.
• Guide development in accordance with Engineering processes, budgets, and schedules.
• Develop and monitor project plans, schedules, and budgets for small to mid-size projects.
• Provide Earned Value Management (EVM) analysis on assigned programs.
• Lead SETR events (PDR, CDR, TRR) and manage technical risks with mitigation plans.
