Job summary

Resilient Structures, based in Humble, TX, is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead transmission and distribution projects from concept through construction support. You will review designs, perform structural analysis, and mentor engineers while coordinating with clients and internal teams.

The role requires a PE license, 8+ years in T&D line design, and proficiency with PLS-CADD/PLS-POLE. You will ensure compliance with NESC/IEEE/ASCE standards and contribute to safe, high-quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Structural Engineering required.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required.
• Minimum of 8 years of transmission and distribution (T&D) line design experience.
• Proficiency with PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE software.
• Experience designing overhead transmission and distribution line projects.
• Working knowledge of utility design standards including NESC, RUS, IEEE, and ASCE.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients, project stakeholders, and internal teams to move T&D projects forward from concept to construction support.
• Review complex engineering designs and perform structural analysis and pole loading calculations.
• Provide technical guidance to engineers and designers and mentor team members.
• Manage budgets and schedules, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safe, high-quality delivery.
