Job summary

Coastal International Security, Inc is seeking a on-site Senior Project Engineer to lead design management and construction support for large-scale infrastructure and security projects in Los Alamos, NM. You will serve as the technical backbone for physical security installations and infrastructure deployments, ensuring designs are translated into hardened, high-performing facilities.

Operating 100% on-site, you will coordinate with project management, design teams, and security engineers,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of project engineering experience focused on commercial infrastructure, civil works, or high-security facilities.
• Hands-on experience with ProjectSight, Delta cost tracking, Aproove, and the Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate security and infrastructure design interfaces across multidisciplinary teams.
• Lead engineering changes and technical resolution including RFIs and change notices.
• Manage on-site technical document control, submittals, and cost tracking using ProjectSight and Delta.
• Ensure compliance with security design intent and safety requirements during construction.
• Mentor junior engineers and interface with contractors and stakeholders.
