Strategic Management Solutions, LLC is seeking a full-time Senior Project Engineer to work on-site at Los Alamos National Laboratory to lead engineering efforts for infrastructure and security-focused projects. The role emphasizes technical leadership, design coordination, and on-site execution.

The candidate will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage field changes, and ensure security compliance while delivering on time and within budget. DOE clearance and U.S. citizenship are required.

Qualifications

10+ years of project engineering experience in infrastructure or high-security facilities.
Experience leading design, field execution, turnover and closeout in security-sensitive or nuclear environments.
Willingness to work 100% on-site at LANL project locations; DOE clearance and U.S. citizenship required.

Responsabilités

Coordinate security and infrastructure design interfaces across MEP, structural, network, and security subsystems.
Manage on-site engineering activities using Project Sight; track cost and schedule with Delta.
Ensure designs meet security classifications, codes, and constructability requirements.
Mentor junior engineers; interface with design teams, contractors, and operations personnel.
Support commissioning, turnover, and records closeout to ensure a compliant project handover.
