Job summary

Navarro Research and Engineering in Los Alamos, NM seeks a Project Engineer 3/4 to lead engineering efforts for large-scale infrastructure and security projects on-site. You will coordinate between project management, multidisciplinary design teams, physical security engineers, and construction management to deliver high-security facilities on time and within budget.

Qualified candidates will have a civil/mechanical/electrical engineering background with 10+ years of project engineering

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related field with 10+ years of project engineering experience on commercial infrastructure or high-security/government facilities.
• Hands-on experience with ProjectSight, Delta, Aproove and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate security and infrastructure design interfaces across MEP, structural, network and security subsystems.
• Lead on-site engineering efforts and interface with design teams, security engineers, and construction management.
• Manage document control, RFIs, submittals, and cost tracking from the job site using ProjectSight and Delta.
• Perform constructability reviews and drive design changes while maintaining budget and schedule.
• Mentor junior engineers and ensure compliance with codes, standards, and security requirements.
