Job summary

M. G. Newell Corporation seeks a Senior Project Engineer to provide advanced engineering support for complex sanitary projects across our divisions in Nashville, TN and Louisville, KY.

You will collaborate with Outside Sales to design, estimate, and deliver engineered-to-order solutions, and guide installations from concept to turnover. The role emphasizes project management, CAD design (P&IDs, layouts, and models), and strong cross-functional collaboration to meet quality, cost, and schedule

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in mechanical/chemical engineering; master's preferred.
• 10+ years in engineered solutions for industrial products or systems.
• PE license preferred; sanitary fluid processing background helpful.
• Experience with CAD/solid modeling and P&IDs (AutoCAD/SolidWorks/Creo/Inventor).
• Project management, estimating, and customer proposals experience.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and design large-scale sanitary processes.
• Evaluate opportunities with Outside Sales; develop solutions.
• Prepare engineering drawings, P&IDs, layouts, and models.
• Develop project cost estimates and customer proposals.
• Deliver projects as PM and design engineer to meet targets.
• Identify and mitigate project risks; lead reviews.
• Manage onsite installations; coordinate subcontractors.
• Issue change orders; develop turnover packages.
• Communicate with senior management and Sales.
• Travel up to 35% to customer/vendor facilities.
