Job summary

United Consulting Hub is looking for a mechanical engineer based in Kentucky to support capital and operational projects involving process equipment. Responsibilities include reading P&IDs, coordinating line breaks, and ensuring safety compliance during fieldwork.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and 2-5 years of relevant experience in regulated environments. Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work hands-on in the field are essential.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech or regulated manufacturing environments.
• Familiarity with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and safe work practices.
• Ability to work occasional off-hours for critical project activities.

Responsibilities

• Support execution of capital and operational projects involving process equipment.
• Read and interpret P&IDs for troubleshooting and field execution.
• Coordinate line breaks and system tie-ins in active manufacturing environments.
