Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Experience with drafting, solid modeling and design packages such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo or Inventor.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to travel approx. 35% to customer and vendor facilities.

Responsibilities

• Design small to mid-sized sanitary manufacturing and cleaning processes with guidance.
• Evaluate customer opportunities with Outside Sales and develop cost-effective solutions.
• Use CAD to prepare process diagrams, P&IDs, layouts, and solid models.
• Develop project cost estimates and customer proposals.
• Deliver projects as project manager and design engineer meeting scope, cost, quality, and schedule.
• Manage onsite installations as the customer point-of-contact and lead for subcontractors.
