Job summary

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems seeks a Senior Project Engineer to lead engineering projects across multiple programs. You will coordinate planning, resourcing and progress reporting, serving as the engineering interface to program management and customers. Expect responsibility for schedule, cost and technical quality while guiding IPT teams.

The role requires an engineering degree, 5–7 years of experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Travel up to 25% is anticipated.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in engineering and 5-7 years of experience required.
• Engineering discipline/major is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree and CAE software experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate IPTs to plan, staff, and execute projects.
• Provide engineering interface to program management and customers.
• Ensure technical quality, schedule and cost targets are met.
• Develop project plans, schedules, budgets and forecasts.
