General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems is seeking an Engineering Project Manager to lead or coordinate project planning, resourcing, staffing, progress reporting, people management and troubleshooting for engineering projects. The role requires ensuring technical quality, reliability, schedule, and cost are met.

The position involves managing a team, providing guidance, and coordinating with internal stakeholders and customers to deliver successful ordnance production programs.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree and 7–8 years’ experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

• Manage the organization's portfolio of engineering projects through a team of Engineering Project Managers.
• Develop and implement project management practices, processes, methodologies, and metrics.
• Oversees engineering projects, identifies expected outcomes, establishes timelines, and assigns project staff.
• Reviews reports detailing project status and presents updates to project stakeholders.
• Ensures projects are completed on time, within established quality standards, and in compliance with design specifications.
• Leads and directs the work of other employees and has responsibility for personnel actions including hiring, performance management, and termination with concurrence from HR & General Managers
